Healing Through Compassion and Care

Trauma-Focused Mental Health Programs

Trauma-Informed Mental Health Services

At our core, we are dedicated to supporting victims of community violence and their families through a range of trauma-informed mental health services—all provided at no cost. Funded by the Office of Victim Services and the Department of Public Health, our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment for healing and growth. We offer brief individual and family therapy for clients ages 3 and up.

Evidence-Based Therapies

Our therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices to ensure the most effective and proven treatments. Services include:

  • Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT): A family-focused program for youth ages 7–17.
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): Specialized for individuals 14 and older.
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): For children and adults who have experienced trauma.
  • Individual Therapy: Available for both adults and children.
  • Brainspotting: A powerful method for processing trauma, available for all ages.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): A psychotherapy that helps people of all ages heal from trauma by reprocessing painful memories, reducing their emotional impact.

Serenity Suite

The Serenity Suite is an immersive, virtual retreat where clients will be able to utilize the space to decompress, process their experiences, and support overall wellbeing. The Serenity Suite is a bio-experiential space designed for recovery. Research has shown that after a 15-minute experience in such a space, participants experienced an average of 60.0% reduction in self-reported stress levels.
