You’ll work with providers who specialize in rehabilitation medicine as well as nurses and therapists who have undergone dedicated training in this specialty.

We recognize the complexities that come with a serious illness or injury, so behavioral health specialists are also on staff to promote your mental well-being throughout treatment, recovery and beyond.

We provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and psychological counseling at our facility. Our rehabilitation hospital is located on Mercy Medical Center’s campus which allows access to emergency medical care and specialty care services if required. 

Our inpatient rehabilitation program include:

 An experienced team including physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, registered dietitians, and social work all committed to personalized care for each patient. Our unit treats patients with various diagnosis including but not limiting to, stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal, medical complexity, and cardiac disease. Each patient will receive at minimum 15 hours of individual therapy per week. We offer family training and home visits if recommended for a safe discharge plan. We educate patients and families to maximize independence and transition into a new lifestyle.

The Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation Program

Rehabilitation experts assist patients and families with the physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological effects of a stroke. Our stroke program focuses on minimizing impairments and secondary complications, maximizing participation and quality of life, decreasing environmental barriers, and preventing recurrent strokes.
