How To Apply

Program Dates:

• Chaplain Residency – A full-time (employment) yearlong residency: August – August (3 units)
• Extended Internship – A part-time (volunteer position) extended internship: January  – May | September - April (1 unit)
• Summer Intensive – A volunteer, full-time Summer Intensive unit: June – August
• Certified Educator Candidate - A three (3) - four (4) year program

To learn more about our admission requirements, please visit the CPE Programs page, to review admissions requirements. An on-site interview is required for residency positions. Proxy interviews with a qualified ACPE Certified Educator will be considered for internships.

To be considered for a CPE internship or residency, please complete the following admission requirements:

• Complete the ACPE application and essay questions
• Submit three letters of reference
• Submit application fee of $35, payable to Saint Francis Hospital CPE
