Saint Francis Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery

Section of Podiatry/Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery

Foot and ankle problems are commonly encountered in the pediatric and adult population.  Foot and ankle issues can range from simple injuries to complicated and severe limb threatening deformities.  Our podiatric surgeons are highly trained, highly knowledgeable clinicians, skilled in treating any problem that you may have with your foot or ankle.  While many conditions may resolve with short-term conservative (non-operative) care, some will require surgery to alleviate pain, correct a deformity, or heal from an injury.

In addition, Saint Francis Hospital is home to the Saint Francis Hospital Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, where residents undergo 3 years of intensive training in the surgical management of simple and complex reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, which also includes trauma surgery, deformity correction, sports medicine, and advanced surgical training in limb preservation.  Our podiatric attendings are highly involved in resident training, research, and lecture throughout the country on foot and ankle surgery.
