About
Hebatalla Elhusseiny, M.D. is a neurologist at the Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience research at Mercy Medical Center as a staff neurologist.
Dr. Elhusseiny received her medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, where she also received a master’s degree in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Serving as chief resident, she completed a residency in Neurology at The University of Mississippi. Dr. Elhusseiny also received fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Department of Neurology
Dr. Elhusseiny is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Neurological Association.
Dr Elhusseiny has passion for implementing the comprehensive care model which the Mandell Center provides. This model allows for a multidisciplinary approach to provide optimum care for MS patients.
