Corrine Blumling Miller, MD

Corrine Miller, M.D. is an Acute Care trauma surgeon with Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in the Department of Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital.

Dr. Miller has practiced at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA since 2019, and has served as the Associate Director of Emergency General Surgery since 2020. In this position she directed a collaborative effort to establish a weekly Emergency General Surgery clinic which improved patient access as well as resident education. Dr. Miller also collaborated with counterparts at other Geisinger campuses to revive a quarterly system-wide Emergency General Surgery M&M to facilitate discussion of challenging examples and best practices for commonly-seen conditions. She also served as a Clinical Associate Professor and mentor to third-year medical students.

Dr. Miller received her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She also holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in International Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Miller completed a residency in General Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center, and a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Dr. Miller is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is certified as an Advanced Trauma Life Support course director.
