About Saint Francis Hospital
Saint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
At Saint Francis Hospital we remain committed to the mission that has been virtually unchanged during our 125+ year history – to improve and enrich the lives of individuals and families in our region. Compassionate care, superior technology and prevention-oriented education will combine in centers of clinical excellence. Dedication to our founding core values will create a spiritual and healing environment.
Saint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in north central Connecticut since 1897. In 2015, Saint Francis became part of Trinity Health Of New England, an integrated health care delivery system that is a member of Trinity Health, Livonia, MI, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation. Saint Francis Hospital is licensed for 617 beds and is a major teaching hospital and the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
While the size, shape, and elements of Saint Francis Hospital will change, we remain committed to the mission that has been virtually unchanged during our 125-year history – a commitment to health and healing through excellence, compassionate care, and reverence for the spirituality of each person in the communities we serve.
