Vision
Support Well Being – Improve Community Health – Create Equitable Opportunities
Mission
Advance health equity in our communities through engagement, research, education, and advocacy.
Guiding Principles
Working on improving Health Equity is complex and not easily attained. It takes time and a collaborative effort to stay focused and to find opportunities to celebrate change. The process is slow but it is rewarding to see the significant difference that this work can have on the health and well-being of others. Over time our team has developed a set of Guiding Principles for doing this work. They include:
- Looking for simple solutions in attaining equitable care
- Continual learning
- Respecting the value of each person’s input
- Having relationships at the Center of the work
- Continue to build trust with sustained engagement
The Mission and Core Values at Saint Francis have always included a Health Equity agenda. With the founding of the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity (CDRCHE) this work has been prioritized by combining programs within a center with a dedicated staff which focus on the triple aims of the Affordable Care Act (Improve Patient Experience; Value; and Health Outcomes).
