About

Dr. Stefan Kachala, board certified by the American Board of Surgery and Thoracic Surgery, has joined Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group, specializing in Thoracic Surgery and is welcoming new  patients.

Dr. Kachala obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University. He then completed an Internship and Residency in General Surgery at New York Presbyterian, Weill-Cornell Medical Center, followed by a Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency, at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kachala was a Research Fellow in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Prior to joining Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group, Department of Surgery, Dr. Kachala was the Director of Thoracic Surgical Oncology and Director of Thoracic Robotics for the Central Region with Hartford Healthcare Medical Group. He also was a Thoracic Surgeon with Hartford Healthcare Medical Group and served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at UCONN Medical School.

I never feel rushed. I always have my concerns addressed. Dr Kachala takes his time and is just amazing. He should teach classes on How to be a Good Human nvm Doctor. You will never find a doctor with his bed side manor ever. He is just the best
