About
Philip T. Glynn, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hospice and palliative care, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital and his fellowship training in medical oncology at UMass Chan–Baystate Medical Center. Throughout his career Dr. Glynn has been involved in medical education both locally and nationally. He was formerly the medical director of oncology at Noble Hospital as well as medical director of Noble VNA and Hospice. In 2012 he became director of medical oncology at Mercy Medical Center and subsequently has taken on the role of co-director of the palliative care and hospice service.
Throughout the years, Dr. Glynn has received numerous awards for providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in this community, including the 2016 Omar T. Pace Award from the American Cancer Society and the BusinessWest 2022 Healthcare Hero award. He is currently focused on maintaining excellence and equity of care for all patients.
