About
Dr. Paul S. Sullivan attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathy 1992 through 1996. He completed his residency at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital from 1997 through 1999 and is Board Certified since 1999. Dr. Sullivan has been in private practice since 2004 in the Greater Hartford area.
His academic appointments include Community Faculty in Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut Medical School since 2005; Attending Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Department of Family Medicine since 2004; and Community Faculty in Family Medicine at Brown Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island from 2003 to 2005. He also served as a Member of the Women and Children's Peer Review Committee at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center since 2009 and a Member of Medical Performance Evaluation and Improvement Committee at Newport Hospital, Rhode Island from 2003 to 2004. Dr. Sullivan currently services as a Member of the Medical/Surgical Quality Oversight Committee since 2013.
Dr. Sullivan has been recognized as a Preceptor of the Year Award recipient by the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2013 for excellence in teaching and continued dedication to medical students, and for being an exemplary role model. He has served as a Board Member at the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians from 2007 to 2010 and also as the State Representative for Connecticut at the Christian Medical and Dental Association at the national level from 2007 to 2011. Dr. Sullivan serviced in Operation Iraqi Freedom II in Camp Fallujah, Iraq, as an Emergency Medicine Specialist and Family Physician in a level II field hospital supporting the 1st Marine Division in the year 2004.
