Michael C Malinics, DO

Michael Malinics, D.O. has joined Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in the Department of Cardiology, specializing in Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiology. Along with his colleagues in the Cardiology Department, Dr. Malinics is welcoming new patients.

Dr. Malinics obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Scranton. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Francis Hospital, followed by a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Prior to rejoining Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group, Dr. Malinics served as Chair of Cardiology Physician Executive Council at Tidelands Health Heart and Vascular Specialists in South Carolina. Before his time at Tidelands Health, Dr. Malinics practiced in the Waterbury area with Trinity Health Of New England and at Naugatuck Valley Cardiovascular Associates.

Dr. Malinics is a certified Cardiac Device Specialist, regularly implanting pacemakers, defibrillators, CRT-D devices and LINQ implantable loop recorders. His clinical skills include diagnostic cardiac catheterization, nuclear imaging, and echocardiography.
