About
Dr. Talwalkar is a physician and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, where he completed residency training. He has been providing primary care for patients of all ages in Waterbury since the early 2000s and has a separate specialty practice for adults with cystic fibrosis in New Haven. In addition to seeing patients, he teaches medical students and residents and develops curricula for medical education. He is Assistant Dean for Education and Director of Clinical Skills at Yale School of Medicine, where he oversees the teaching of fundamental bedside skills to Yale medical students. He also edits and administers the Yale Primary Care Pediatrics Curriculum, a guide for pediatric teaching used by pediatricians nationwide. When not at work, he spends time with his family, and enjoys coaching youth soccer and playing ultimate frisbee
