Gerard Pregenzer, Jr., MD, is a board-certified urologist at Pregenzer Urology, with locations in Enfield and Hartford, Connecticut. He is well-known for being one of the highest volume implanters of the inflatable penile prosthesis and provides state-of-the-art treatments and services for sexual health.

Dr. Pregenzer, Jr. earned his medical degree with honors from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. He then completed his residency in urology at the University of Connecticut. There, he began to pursue further studies into prosthetic urology and penile implants. After his residency in 2016, he joined the medical staff at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, where he deepened his skills in prosthetic urology.

Dr. Pregenzer, Jr. takes an integrative and comprehensive approach to health care. The team offers FDA-approved therapies for erectile dysfunction, including oral medications, urethral suppositories, injections, vacuum erection devices, and penile implants. The team also treats kidney stones, neurogenic bladder, Peyronie’s disease, and urinary tract infections (UTI). They provide urodynamic testing, ultrasound, and vasectomies in the office. Dr. Pregenzer, Jr. is also knowledgeable in the use of plasma-rich protein (PRP) injections, shockwave therapy, and supplements.
