About
Dr. Eytan R. Barnea, dual board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and reproductive endocrinology/Infertility, has joined Saint Mary’s Hospital and Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group. In addition to full gynecological care, Dr. Barnea will consult in person and with telehealth with patients for individualized infertility evaluation/management and full spectrum of hormonal disorders from adolescence to menopause management.
Dr. Barnea is an internationally renowned OB/GYN and reproductive specialist, with an extensive history in research and study of pregnancy and the advancement of infertility evaluation and therapy. He has worked to develop internationally recognized policies and standards of care relating to OBGYN worldwide. He authored 5 medical textbooks and over 200 publications including position papers defining on world policies on OB/GYN care.
In addition to his body of study, Dr. Barnea has been a clinician for over 3 decades, serving thousands of patients, as Clinical Associate Professor at UMDNJ and most recently with CAMcare Health Organization in Camden, New Jersey as Director and Senior Consultant of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproduction.
Dr. Barnea has treated large number of patients with infertility, early pregnancy disorders, including recurrent pregnancy loss and has extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancy complications including, preeclampsia, diabetes and premature labor. As Reproductive Endocrinologist, he specializes in management of hormonal disorders.
Dr. Barnea completed his internship at University of Pennsylvania and began his residency at McGill University. He completed his junior and senior OB/GYN residency and after three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University where he became an Assistant Professor.
Twice elected as committee member of FIGO’s Safe Motherhood/Newborn Health at the International Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Barnea is interested in continuing clinical work as an obstetrician gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist.
