About
Emily Collier, M.D. is a Thoracic Oncologist within the Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group - Department of Oncology.
Dr. Collier earned her Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School as part of the Health, Sciences and Technology (HST) program, a joint program between Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the training of physician scientists and educators. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston before serving as a Hospitalist at Newton Wellesley Hospital from 2012-2017. In 2017, Dr. Collier began a Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital, and in 2020, she started a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University.
Dr. Collier, who is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, has worked on several research projects, including two with the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale. In 2015, she won the Locke Award for Excellence in Hospital Medical Education from Newton Wellesley Hospital, and also earned the Award for Notable Teaching in the Medicine Clerkship at Newton Wellesley Hospital by Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Collier has published multiple research articles and is active in professional development activities.
