About

Debra J. Giesen, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC specializes in Primary Care with Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.

After receiving her Associates of Science degree in Nursing from St. Vincent’s College, Debra attained both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Sciencedegrees in Nursing from Sacred Heart University. She is expected to complete her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from Capella University in December 2021. She is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Prior to joining Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group, Debra worked with Visiting Nurse Services as a Clinical Manager. She has also worked as apublic health nurse in public health clinics and schools, as well as providing hospice patients with end-of-life care. Debra has served as a nursing instructorfor many years with Lincoln Technical Institute, St. Vincent’s College and most recently at Quinnipiac University.

As a young woman of color I can say she is the best medical professional thus far didn’t treat me differently or if I didn’t know what I was feeling in my body. She actually cared & fixed my problem by doing some important bloodwork.
