Angela Stein, MD

Angela Stein, MD, FACP, is a primary care physician with Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.

Dr. Stein earned her Medical Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2009. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at UConn and served as Chief Medical Resident in 2013.

Prior to joining Trinity Health Of New England, Dr. Stein practiced as a primary care physician for ProHealth Physicians of OptumCare in West Hartford for seven years. While at ProHealth Physicians, Dr. Stein served on the Advisory Board and participated in the Leadership Academy.

Dr. Stein was the Medical Director of ProHealth Express Care in West Hartford from 2015-19. She also acted as a Medical Student Preceptor for the Student Continuity Practice at UConn from 2015-16. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Stein has been a member of the American College of Physicians since 2007 and became a Fellow in 2018. She is also a member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Hartford County Medical Association. While in medical school, Dr. Stein won several awards, including the Richard A. Garibaldi, MD Humanitarian Award, the Carl F. Hinz, Jr. Scholars in Medicine Award, the Jan Willms, MD Award for Excellence in Clinical Skills, and the American Society of Internal Medicine Award from the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Stein is board certified in Internal Medicine.
