About
Dr. Russell Parvin received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, and subsequently completed residency in Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After finishing his general training in Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in hepatology at SUNY downstate Medical Center, and subsequently fellowship in gastroenterology/hepatology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Parvin has authored multiple research publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at regional and national scientific meetings, and has won multiple clinical and research awards.
Dr. Parvin is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology/hepatology, and treats a broad array of gastrointestinal conditions, including GERD and other gastroesophageal diseases, hepatitis, cirrhosis, pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and many others.
Dr. Parvin has been with Trinity Health of New England since 2017, and currently serves as chief of the department of Gastroenterology at Saint Mary's Hospital
