Up-To-Date Visitor Policy

Patients arriving through the ED's guest entrance are immediately greeted and brought into triage for assessment. Based on this evaluation, the triage nurse then escorts the patient to an examination room in the appropriate area. Registration is completed at bedside after the patient has been medically screened. Those arriving by ambulance are brought in through a separate entrance and treated by staff members dedicated to patients with urgent needs. A sophisticated electronic patient-monitoring system enables staff members to track patient management and lab results.

Our skilled staff is second to none, and an atmosphere designed to maximize patient privacy and comfort.

The ER facility features:
 

• 14 exam rooms
• Closed 6 bed behavioral health observation units
• 6 ED Express rooms
• 2 trauma rooms
• Separate treatment areas for critically injured patients and those with non-life-threatening conditions
• Special rooms to accommodate the unique needs of women, children, stroke and heart attack victims, psychiatric patients and sexual assault victims
• Electronic records with patient tracking
