Specialized, Certified Rehabilitation in Connecticut and western Massachusetts
As a leader in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, we deliver first-class occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy. Additionally, we offer a variety of services to assist you with improving mobility, independence and overall quality of life.
Our specialty services include:
- Hand therapy: Specialized occupational therapists known as certified hand therapists (CHTs) provide hand therapy that treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions of the hand, shoulder and arm.
- Lymphedema care: Lymphedema is a condition that may result from cancer treatment. It causes swelling in the arms or legs and can affect rehabilitation. Our experienced occupational and physical therapists address these unique challenges so your recovery can continue to progress.
- Wound care: Taking care of wounds can ensure your comfort during treatment and success during recovery.
- Vestibular therapy: A licensed occupational or physical therapist with dedicated training in vestibular disorders can help with dizziness, vertigo and disequilibrium.
- Voice disorders therapy: Difficulty swallowing, known as dysphagia, is common for people who have experienced stroke, cancer, injury and surgery — as well as those with Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. We provide speech and voice rehabilitation for patients with a variety of related issues, including:
- Neurologic voice disorders

- Orthotic and prosthetic care: Our team of specialists assists you in finding the best possible fit for your body and your lifestyle. Once your orthotic or prosthetic has been crafted, we train you on proper use. As your needs change, our team follows up with you to make necessary adjustments. We ensure that you have the best-fitted and most appropriately designed orthotic or prosthetic.
- Wheelchair services: A physician, an occupational therapist and a medical equipment representative evaluate your wheelchair needs. We make sure you receive a wheelchair that encourages independence while promoting good posture, breathing and digestion, as well as avoiding skin problems.
- Support groups: Ask us about available support groups, which can address a wide variety of medical and emotional conditions that may affect you or a loved one.
