About
Anastasia Hallisey, MSN, CNM has joined Trinity Health Of New England as a Certified Nurse Midwife with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Francis Hospital.
Anastasia joins the Saint Francis OB/GYN team after serving as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Baystate Midwifery and Women’s Health in Springfield, Mass. Since 2006. She was a team leader at Mason Square Health Center and provided full scope midwifery care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Anastasia also provided advanced practice specialty in pelvic pain and sexual health and handled precepting responsibilities for midwifery and medical students.
Since 2016, Anastasia as served as a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University School of Medicine. In 2012, she began the Pelvic Pain and Sexual Health Program at Baystate Medical Center, providing outpatient treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic and abdominal myofascial trigger points, dyspareunia, hormone-mediated vestibulodynia, hypoactive sexual desire dysfunction, and anorgasmia. In September 2019, Anastasia served as the Clinical Preceptor for the Baystate Midwifery Education Program’s Midwifery Education Experience in Ghana, creating
and participating in clinical experience for new graduates.
Anastasia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico. She earned the Fulbright Specialist Award from 2018 – 2020. Anastasia also has 20 years of experience working with Spanish speaking patients, facilitating group prenatal care instruction in Spanish. She participates in community education events as well, including sexual education classes for various high schools and middle schools in the Pioneer Valley.
