About
Board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Dr. Freitag received her MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and then completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center, receiving an adjunct diploma from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed her Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology, and a Master of the American College of Diabetes Specialists. An Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, she has been practicing endocrinology in Connecticut since 1999. She looks forward to serving patients in the Greater Waterbury area and surrounding towns.
