The Trinity Health Of New England Headache Clinic - Hartford provides a comprehensive treatment approach for headache and facial pain disorders. We provide care for adults with chronic migraines and other headache disorders including tension headache, cluster headache, and post-traumatic headache, trigeminal neuralgia, facial pain, and other pain disorders.
Our Neurologists and advanced practice providers aim for compassionate care and employ traditional acute and preventative headache medications. Botox injections are offered to achieve and maintain pain relief for patients who fail some traditional medications. Botox treatments have been shown to help chronic migraine sufferers reduce or eliminate migraine symptoms. Botox injections are administered with a small needle and feel like tiny pinches. The headache clinic also offers new, effective categories of preventive drugs, CGRP monoclonal antibodies (injectables) as well as CGRP oral medications.
