Tradition of Caring and Service Since 1926
Nearly every part of Saint Francis Hospital has been touched by the fundraising efforts of our Auxiliary members and the Auxiliary-run retail and specialty boutiques.
Founded in 1926, the mission and purpose of the Auxiliary have been to support the Hospital by providing services that complement patient care and funding for its various needs, while fostering interest throughout the community for the Hospital's continued growth.
For over 90 years, we have been dedicated to our core values and continue our support to Saint Francis in all its endeavors.
Tradition, compassion, commitment and service - these words embody the very spirit of the Auxiliary. We are a self-governing organization that operates within the Hospital and reports directly to the Hospital's Administration. We have our own board of directors, officers, membership, and staff.

Remembrance Way
Give a Lasting Gift with a Personalized Brick Paver. Remembrance Way, which is located in the beautiful garden right outside the main entrance of Saint Francis Hospital, is a symbolic reminder of those who hold a special place in our hearts.

Gift Shops
The Auxiliary at Saint Francis operates gift shops on the Saint Francis and Mount Sinai campuses as part of its fundraising activities. All proceeds from Auxiliary activities directly benefit Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and its patients.

The Auxiliary Gift Shop: The Auxiliary Gift Shop is committed to excellence in retailing by offering a wide selection of merchandise with the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Our shop carries a wide range of gift items, including Chamilia Jewelry, Stonewall Kitchen, Yankee Candle, fashion hand bags, cell phone accessories, clothes and accessories, baby gift items, toys, toiletries, greeting cards, flowers, balloons, candy, newspapers, and magazines. The Gift Shop also frequently features outside Vendors.
The gift shop is open, Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. | Saturday - Sunday 12 – 5 p.m. For more information, call (860) 714-5602. Blossoms Flower Shop has moved to the Gift Shop. Auxiliary Repetitions Thrift Shop: Find incredible bargains on new and gently used women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, handbags, linens, household items, small furniture, lamps, collectibles, and more. The shop is run by volunteers with all proceeds benefiting the Auxiliary to support patients and programs at Saint Francis and Mount Sinai Hospitals.
The Thrift Shop is open Tuesday – Thursday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. For more information, call (860) 714-4125. Located within the hospital at 114 Woodland Street, Building 1-6, Hartford with an outside entrance between Collins & Ashley Street (Look for the OPEN banner on Woodland Street).
Currently accepting, new and gently used (no stains or holes) seasonal clothing, household items, and small furniture. Your donation is tax deductible with receipt provided.

Driscoll Butterfly Boutique: The Butterfly Boutique is CLOSED due to the COVID pandemic. Specialty selections to enhance comfort, appearance, confidence, and well-being of cancer patients during and after treatment can be purchased at the Auxiliary Gift Shop.
