Connecticut Children's Inpatient Unit at Saint Mary's

The Connecticut Children’s pediatric unit provides expert clinical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, delivered by the same team of clinicians as the tertiary hospital located in Hartford. The admitting process is seamless. Call OneCall at 1.833.PEDS.NOW. The OneCall team member will immediately arrange a conference call among the referring physician, a Connecticut Children’s physician and the OneCall team member. Together, the three of them will develop a plan for the transfer or admission, ensuring the patient receives proper care as efficiently as possible in the appropriate location. The advanced practice provider on the unit can also be contacted directly at 860-305-6541. Both OneCall and the advance practice provider can advise if a patient can be directly admitted at the time of the call verses being sent to the emergency room.
