A Community Collaboration
The Burgdorf Health Center provides a bright, convenient home for medical services operated by Saint Francis Hospital and the University of Connecticut Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as the City of Hartford Department of Health and Human Services. The Center, at 131 Coventry Street on the Mount Sinai campus of Saint Francis Hospital, represents the success of a unique community collaboration.
The Burgdorf Health Center was funded by Saint Francis, Fleet Bank Connecticut (now Bank of America), the City of Hartford, the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and various grants. Medical services operated by Saint Francis and the University of Connecticut are located on the second floor. City programs are located on the first floor.
Adult Medical-Surgical Services
Saint Francis Hospital and the University of Connecticut Schools of Medicine and Dentistry provide a full range of general medical care
for adults.
Patients are seen by appointment for evaluation, treatment and follow-up of all non-emergent medical and dental problems. A primary provider and nurse are assigned to each patient, assuring continuity of care. As necessary, patients are referred to appropriate specialty services.

Pediatric and Adolescent Health Services
The Burgdorf Health Center offers a full range of primary care for children from birth through 21 years old.

City health offices are located on the first floor of the Burgdorf Health Center.
