Our in-person “Understanding Your Newborn” and “Postpartum Care” Class will be your guide in learning essential information on how to care for yourself, as well as your baby during the first few days of life in the hospital, and the transition home with your little one.

Congratulations on your growing family! Becoming a parent is exciting, and comes with many new experiences, emotions, and lots of questions. Our in-person “Understanding Your Newborn” and “Postpartum Care” Class will be your guide in learning essential information on how to care for yourself, as well as your baby during the first few days of life in the hospital, and the transition home with your little one. Our class will allow you the opportunity to learn and be hands on with our experienced nurses who will help support your care goals. This interactive class uses the “Understanding Your Newborn” curriculum from the company InJoy as our go to guide for childbirth education. The class will consist of a PowerPoint presentation with interactive videos and a hands-on component to learn about routine newborn care practices. Class will last approximately 2-3 hours.

• Please bring water & snacks if needed.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early for traffic, parking, bathroom, and attendance
• Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear to the class
• Registration is for you and one additional guest. (When registering, please add the name of the guest on the registration page)
• Children are not allowed to attend and there is no babysitting service available
