Our in-person “Understanding Birth” Class will be your guide in learning about the process of labor, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean birth, and postpartum care.

Congratulations! Becoming a parent is exciting, and comes with many new experiences, emotions, and lots of questions. Our in-person “Understanding Birth” Class will be your guide in learning about the process of labor, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean birth, and postpartum care. Our class will allow you the opportunity to learn and be hands on with our experienced nurses who will help support your labor goals. This interactive class uses the “Understanding Birth” curriculum from the company InJoy as our go to guide for childbirth education.

The class will consist of a PowerPoint presentation with interactive videos and a hands-on component to learn about positioning techniques.

Cost includes “Understanding Your Birth” InJoy Booklet & App

• Please bring water & snacks if needed.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early for traffic, parking, bathroom, and attendance
• Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear to the class
• Registration is for you and one additional guest. (When registering, please add the name of the guest on the registration page).
• Children are not allowed to attend and there is no babysitting service available
