Residency in Dentistry

The General Practice Residency in Dentistry is fully accredited by the American Dental Association and the Commission on Dental Accreditation, and conforms to the Standards of Accreditation for Advanced Education Programs in General Dentistry. The Department of Dentistry sponsors nine General Practice Residents. In addition to the one-year experience an optional 2nd-year program is available. The department features a modern dental facility with a total of 17 available operatories. The Residency is supported by three full-time faculty and two half-time dentists, in addition to an active voluntary teaching staff and a large support staff of clinical personnel, including dental assistants, dental hygienists, and clerical personnel.
