Saint Mary’s Hospital recently received a heartfelt and comforting donation from students at Waterbury Arts Magnet School (WAMS). Members of the school’s Key Club, a service-focused organization dedicated to supporting both their school and the wider community, delivered 24 teddy bears to the hospital for patients and families in need of a little extra comfort.
The Waterbury Arts Magnet School’s Key Club donated 24 teddy bears for patients and families.
The teddy bears were provided through the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute at Tufts Medical Center and thoughtfully shared with Saint Mary’s. “We hope it brightens the day and/or brings comfort to patients and family at your facility,” said Key Club advisor James Butler.
Saint Mary’s is grateful to the WAMS Key Club for their generosity and compassion. Their thoughtful donation reflects the power of community partnership and the difference even the smallest acts of kindness can make.
