Saint Francis Hospital laboratory colleagues, including the phlebotomy team, recently received Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP) training from Jennifer Levesque, Blood Bank Supervisor. This training helps enhance the ability of these colleagues to support trauma cases at the hospital.

The Saint Francis Laboratory Team recently received Massive Transfusion Protocol training from Jennifer Levesque, Blood Bank Supervisor.

The Saint Francis CLS Laboratory, the “heart” of the hospital, plays a critical role in processing and testing an average of 5,000 specimens per day, along with ensuring the timely delivery of blood products to patients in urgent need. MTP training further strengthens the team’s ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and provide the highest level of patient care.

Thank you to everyone involved in this important initiative!
