Saint Mary’s leaders celebrated all Colleague of the Month recipients recently. The Colleague of the Month recognition program began in December of 2018. Since then, 69 awards have been presented to colleagues from departments throughout the hospital.

Colleague of the Month recipients are recognized for exceeding expectations, demonstrating excellence in job performance, and delivering exceptional service. The range of recognized colleagues and departments is vast, including Environmental Services, Facilities and Security to Radiology, Nursing and Quality Improvement. As diverse as the colleagues’ roles are, their commonalities remain consistent; dedication to their job and an understanding in the value of how individual performance can impact a single patient, fellow colleagues, and the organization.
The small celebration, held in the Franklin Street cul-de-sac, was a recognition of the work these distinguished colleagues continue to perform and an opportunity to come together for a few minutes as a Saint Mary’s community. The event also marked the presentation of the 70th Colleague of Month award. Nicholas Jannetty from the Radiology Department was announced as the August 2024 honoree. Congratulations and thank you to all 70 Colleague of the Month award recipients.
